Communication is a new activity, added to the other activities of the twinning on REPA’s demand, the soil contamination problem being a sensitive subject for the population.
The working programs are based on specific seminars and trainings, regarding the communication strategy with the public institutions and civil societies, the new actions and press relation.
During the first mission, enough information will be gathered about the Romanian point of view regarding the environmental communication. Romania having signed the Aarhus Convention, the application of the convention will be the entrance key for this first seminar.
The agenda for the next missions will focus on:
- environmental education : experience exchange meeting about practices and specific documents related to environmental education, having young people as a target,
- ONG’s involvement : invite ONG to establish partnerships and to discuss about practices in Romania and France, about possible hurdles and the means to improve the cooperation,
- Press relation: invite the journalists to exchange about their expectations regarding information sharing. Training sessions on press relation,
- Public debate: training session on how to organise a public debate.
